![]() ![]() ![]() On May 2012, she was awarded the “Youth Merit Medal Award” from the Melaka State Youth Council in Malaysia. For her work in African world, she was given “International Ambassador of Youth on Good Practice” from the Youth Parliament in Nigeria in 2010. She was awarded twice from the Loyola College in India, on 2008 she received the ‘Life Time Achievement Legendary Award’, and on 2012 she received the “Life Time Achievement Award” for her contribution in the field of Youth Development. ![]() She has received several awards and medals throughout her career. She believes in empowering youth and with that passion she was greatly involved in writing various books and booklets that would help and raise awareness to young people on the dangers of drug abuse, HIV/AIDS Pandemic, etc. She has also consulted and contributed in the drafting of numerous youth policies and strategies related to youth issues, at regional and international level. She is an experienced public speaker, for the past 15 years she has delivered various keynote speeches, papers, presentations, and conducted several workshops, trainings, and consultations on empowerment and leadership of young people and related youth issues, such as: education, employment, environment, human rights, democracy, population, health, drugs, peace, gender equality, community development, leadership training and SDGs. She holds a Masters in Business Administration (United Kingdom), a Masters in Political Science (United Kingdom), a Masters in Entreprenology (United States of America) and also a Bachelors Degree in LLB (United Kingdom). She was born and raised in Permet, Albania, the daughter of Kujtim Pashollari (1952-2015) and Adelina (Polikseni) Pashollari (1953). She coordinates humanitarian and relief programmes around the world, and reports to the WAY President, Executive Committee, and General Assembly. She is also the liaison for membership and affiliate organisations, representative of the organisation at the United Nations, intergovernmental, and non-governmental organisations, and ministries responsible for youth. Through her capacity as the Secretary General of WAY she is responsible for running the administration of WAY Headquarters and Secretariat and coordination of national, regional, and international programmes and events. Pashollari joined WAY in Januas the Deputy Secretary General and in Decemthe WAY General Assembly appointed her as the first female Secretary General, where she is now serving her second term. Ediola Pashollari (born August 31, 1981) is an Albanian diplomat and serving as the eleventh Secretary General of the World Assembly of Youth - (WAY) which is currently headquartered in Melaka, Malaysia. ![]()
